Kia Ora everyone in Toroa
Ethan has had a fun past week continuing to base a lot of his learning around his love for animals. He has been researching more in to animals and thinking of how to match people’s names to animal names constantly.
He has also been working hard at learning to recognise letters, their sounds and what they are called and can do this for nearly all of the letters in the alphabet now when he really concentrates.

Ethan has enjoyed doing lots of counting and recognising numbers also, and asking lots of questions about quantities and speed.
We have continued to do lots of baking and some science experiments also which have mostly come from one of this animal activity books.
We also got to expand our bubble to one set of his grandparents who live on a lifestyle block so he has enjoyed helping out with feeding and looking after some animals.
Today he drew a picture of “a magnificent tiger in the jungle” complete with trees, bushes, grass and even the soil layer at the bottom! Study ladder is also being enjoyed at times and he especially loves listening to books being read (he would do this most of the day if he could!)

He is looking forward to getting back to school when he can and seeing his teachers and making more friends.
Thank you for sharing your learning with us Ethan, we love seeing what you have been doing in your bubble. It looks like you had lots of fun on the farm! We look forward to seeing you at school again soon too. Mrs Josland
ReplyDeleteHi Ethan. It looks like you have been busy with a lot of learning and helping out on the farm. What has been you favourite thing to do? From Janine
ReplyDeleteHi Ethan. Thanks for sharing . It is great to see that you are enjoying all the activities you are doing at home and with your grandparents. Feeding out looks like fun, but hard work too! keep going with your 'home learning'. Not long now until we are back at school. From Robbie.
