Monday with Mustang!

Now it is September it is also Spring and Miss Bell thought we needed to practice our calendar for morning routine for when we get back to school. We learned that the word for September in te reo Māori is Mahuru and the word for Spring is Kōanga. The more we practice saying it the better we will be at pronouncing the words correctly.

Today we read the story "The Smartest Giant in Town" by Julia Donaldson. You can read the story here

The story was about George the Giant and he was really kind to all of the animals in the town. The animals wrote George a thank you letter. This is the letter for George the giant from all of the animals:

It has 6 rhyming pairs, can you find them all?

After you have read the story could you write a letter for someone in your bubble? It could be someone who has been helping you during lockdown.

Shahwaiz said that he would write a letter for his sister Alizeh who has been helping him with all of his Google Meets. Hana and Anna both want to write one for their Mums for looking after them and cooking nice food. Who are you going to write one for?
