Hana's very busy Wednesday

Great to see you trying each other's home learning activities that you have read about on the blog! Here we see Hana having a go at Scarlett's rainbow activity.

She had an interesting question for me and I wonder if you would be able to help answer it.

Hana wanted to know how to make the rainbow bigger, clearer and more colourful - any ideas?

  1. I absolutely love your elephants Hana. They are so bright and colourful! Such a great question about the rainbow Hana, I am not sure how we could do that. Maybe we could try different things and see what happens?

  2. You have been busy Hana! Very cool to see you having a go at the rainbow activity - the result looks great! I think changing the angle of the paper may result in a larger of smaller rainbow. Another option is a very similar experiment you can do where you fill water up to half way in a clear dish. You hang half the dish over the end of a table with a piece of paper underneath it on the floor. The light travels through the water and onto the paper making a beautiful rainbow! You can change the angle of your paper and experiment making bigger and smaller rainbows. I hope this helps answer your question! :)

  3. Hello Hana,

You certainly have been busy, I can see you are so helpful for Mum and Dad around the house alongside doing all of your amazing Toroa pack activities. Great job friend :)

I wonder if you could use a big glass bowl to see what effect that has? I'm not too sure of that will work, but you could give it a try.

Thank you for sharing your learning on the class blog Hana, it's fantastic to see :)

    From - Miss Muriel.
