New self-portraits

At the start of each term, the children in Toroa draw a self portrait to put on the wall. We would love to share them with you!

Casey Caterpillar Handwriting Shapes

We are learning to form our letters correctly and this is how we are learning! We have read the Casey Caterpillar story and she shows us all the shapes we need to know to write our letters. Underneath is a guide on how to describe forming lower case letters. Talk to your children about how they write the letters of their name - we think they will be surprised if you use Casey Caterpillar language too! Please come in and grab a paper copy if you would like one for home.
