Reading and Writing is lots of fun!

Our Toroa children have been working so hard this week. They have been learning new strategies to help them read, they have been building on the reading and writing skills that they already have by extending themselves. For example by beginning to write their whole sentences all by themselves, learning to construct sentences in reading and writing, learning to use their word cards to look for letters, looking for high frequency words (the words the kids bring home to practice every night) on the reading page. Wow it's been busy busy. We are very proud of them all!
