The Toroa Orchestra

Today we have had another fantastic Friday in Toroa! This morning the Toroa Orchestra were hard at work performing pieces such as the Can Can and the William Tell Overture. We loved getting to play the recycled instruments we made last week. We practised playing in time and following a simple score. We were very proud of the music we made! A big thank you to Miss Ryman for sharing her musical talents with us!

Toroa also had a mini class assembly today. We said farewell to Mr Leung and Mr Wilkins, and sang one of our favourite songs together: Yellow Submarine. Next term we are going to keep practising making our singing sound beautiful when we get excited! We will miss Mr Leung and Mr Wilkins lots and know that the next school they go to will be very lucky!

This afternoon we have been enjoying the beautiful sunshine outside for Discovery. We love playing on the playground, in the sandpit and with sports equipment on the field. It has been a wonderful last day of the term and now we can't wait to have a wonderful holidays with our family and friends.

See you next term for lots more learning and fun!
