This week we have been reading a big book to learn about Matariki. On Thursday we listened to an online story called ‘The Seven Kites of Matariki.’ Afterward at Heart Zone time lots of children enjoyed making kites using paper, card, sticks, string, glue, tape and crayons/pencils for decorating them. They loved running around outside to test if their kites could fly!
