Today during our walk around the school we visited the school garden and saw lots of different vegetables growing. Mr Rob let us have a turn at digging up the carrots. Then we helped Mr Rob cut off the tops and with washing the carrots. We got to have a taste of them at fruit snack time. They were very sweet and delicious! Next week we might help Mr Rob planting some broad beans. In Toroa we love learning about how vegetables grow, it is very interesting!
