Hello Mrs Hefferman,
This is some of the poetry, writing and maths I have been doing at home. And today I started the study ladder online, which I liked doing.
I wanted my poetry to rhyme which made me think really hard about words.
I’ve been doing some reading myself but mostly mum is reading to me.
Maths is my favourite topic currently, so I’ve been playing lots of card games and number related board games and snakes and ladders too.
I miss my school friends but am enjoying spending lots of time with my family, especially Dad who is usually at work all the time.

Hi Levi - you have been super busy! I love seeing the work you are doing and am glad you are getting Mum to help out too! Your poems are fantastic - we might have to share those with everyone when we get back to school. Keep up the great work - from Mrs Hefferman

ReplyDeleteHi Levi! Wow it is so cool seeing what learning you have been doing at home. You have decorated your poems in such an amazing way - I love all the different colours and pictures. I'm glad you are enjoying doing some maths on Studyladder. Maybe you could see if you have some different toys or objects around your house you could make your own patterns with? I'm sure you would be good at that. We miss seeing you at school, but are so happy to hear you are making the most of this time with your family. Have a great Monday! From Mrs Wales.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are enjoying Maths Levi. I love Maths games too! Have you tried 'Go Fish'. You can also play it by finding numbers that add up to 5 or 10. If I had a 5 I would ask who has another 5 to make pairs to 10. (1,9) (2, 8) etc.
ReplyDeleteLevi you have been so busy! I like how you have written all of your words in different colours. It's good fun to have Mum reading to you, I've been doing lots of reading to my son too. I also like playing snakes and ladders and card games. If you have chalk at home you could have a go at drawing a giant snakes and ladders board outside!
